Rainmaker Solutions Limited (“We”) are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.

This policy sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, through the Wemvula platform (“our platform”) will be processed by us. By using our platform you are accepting and consenting to the practices described in this policy.


Information we collect from you

We will collect and process the following data about you:

  • Personal information you give us. This is information about you that you give us by uploading content or data to our platform or by participating in discussions through our platform. It includes information you provide when you register to use our platform. The information you give us may include your name, address, e-mail address and phone number, as well as information about the finances, policies and processes of your business, and any other information you enter on the User Profile page. This information is shown to other users on your Wemvula sites so they know who has created and edited information in the system, and can contact you about it.
  • Organisation information you give us. This is information about the components, finances, policies and processes of your business, and any other information you enter on the User Profile page. This information is shown to other users on your Wemvula sites so they know who has created and edited information in the system, and can contact you about it.

General Data Protection Regulations (EU)

With relation to the EU GDPR, the personal information listed above is available for you to view and update yourself at any point by logging into your Wemvula account profile page. We hold your personal data on the GDPR basis of “Legitimate Interest” as part of delivering our contractual obligations to the Organisation using the Wemvula site(s) you are involved in.

Your information is kept on the system while your account is activated; when your account is deleted we will remove all profile information other name name and email address, which are kept so that your past activities remain identifiable to colleagues still using the site. If you wish those details to be removed completely, please contact hello@wemvu.la.

When a Wemvula site is deleted, all organisation and user information is completely removed after 30 days.


Cookies

Our platform uses cookies to distinguish you from other users of our platform. This helps us to provide you with a good experience when you use our platform and also allows us to improve our platform.

A cookie is a small file of letters and numbers that we store on your browser or the hard drive of your computer if you agree. Cookies contain information that is transferred to your computer’s hard drive.

We use the following cookies:

WEMVULA_SESSION_ID Store the session ID for all session variables to use within the system. Only active while the session is active, should the session/browser be closed, a new session/cookie will be created. If the browser remains open, the cookie will run for current time + 3600 seconds.
WEMVULA_USER_ID Store the user ID, which is tied directly to the session ID. Only active while the session is active, should the session/browser be closed, a new session/cookie will be created. If the browser remains open, the cookie will run for current time + 3600 seconds.
wemvula_keep_logged_in Store a boolean value. If selected the system will run a keep alive script that will continually ping the server thereby keeping the session open and active. If selected, the TTL will be the duration of the session.
_ga Used to distinguish users.. 2 years
_gid Used to distinguish users. 24 hours
_gat Used to throttle request rate. 1 minute
AMP_TOKEN Contains a token that can be used to retrieve a Client ID from AMP Client ID service. Other possible values indicate opt-out, inflight request or an error retrieving a Client ID from AMP Client ID service. 30 seconds to 1 year
_gac_UA-34487138-7 Contains campaign related information for the user. If you have linked your Google Analytics and AdWords accounts, AdWords website conversion tags will read this cookie unless you opt-out. 90 days

You can block cookies by activating the setting on your browser that allows you to refuse the setting of all or some cookies. However, if you use your browser settings to block all cookies (including essential cookies) you may not be able to access all or parts of our platform.


Uses made of the information

We use information held about you in the following ways:

  • to provide you with the information, products and services that you request from us and carry out our obligations under any contracts entered into between you (or your business) and us;
  • to notify you about changes to our service;
  • to administer our platform and for internal operations, including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, improvements, research and statistical purposes;
  • to allow you to participate in interactive features of our service, when you choose to do so; and
  • as part of our efforts to keep our platform safe and secure.

Disclosure of your information

You agree that we have the right to share certain of your personal information with selected third parties including:

  • Suppliers and sub-contractors (for example our hosting provider), but only where necessary for us to be able to provide the services that we are contracted to provide to you, and where the task needs access to personal data and cannot be done another way; and
  • Your IP address (identifying the computer used to access the service) may be shared with analytics and search engine providers that assist us in the improvement and optimisation of our platform.

We will disclose your personal information to third parties:

  • In the event that we sell our business or assets, in which case we will disclose your personal data to the prospective buyer of such business or assets.
  • if we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply our terms of use and other agreements; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Rainmaker, our customers, or others.

Where we store your personal data

The data that we collect from you will be stored at a destination inside the European Economic Area (“EEA”).

We will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access to your information.
